Playing at the Park

After we went to the dentist, I decided to take the kids to the park. It is hot, but the kids don't mind as long as they are running and jumping and having fun. And I don't mind as long as the humidity is down and I am just chasing them and not out for a long walk around the track. So we spent a little time here, before we had to go home and quench our thirsts. E is quite the playground fellow. He is a daredevil and will slide as soon as he climbs up to it. He cannot wait until he is bigger and can follow sister up the rock wall. She is starting to climb the ladders and monkey bars. She is more timid than he is at first, but quite the adventurer herself. Today she attempted the BIG climbing tunnel and got stuck in it again. Her legs are too short for it yet, so me and a very kind lady had to reach in and give her a boost to get her out. She just wants to do what she sees the other kids doing (like brother does her). And this was our first experience with toddler bullies - yes, you heard it right, there were some 3 and 2 year olds trying to bully the other kids. They tried to dominate the rock wall as if they owned it, while their mom happily chatted on the phone. It was very strange to watch, but we just kept on going, even though A was a little bewildered by their behavior.
