A Giveaway - So Long Insecurity!

Today, I decided to be totally crazy and go get Beth Moore to autograph my copy of her latest book, "So Long Insecurity, You've Been a Bad Friend to Us." I have read the first 4 chapters already, and so far it is really good, but I'm have yet to get to the meat of it yet. :) Anyhow, most of us suffer from insecurity in one way or another, whether we are willing to admit it or not. Hey, you might be insecure and not even realize it. Unfortunately, I am painfully aware of my insecurities as I've blogged about here, here, and here, and you can probably find it in almost every post if you look for little clues.

Anyhow, I have always wanted to giveaway something on my blog, so now I have something to give away: an autographed copy of Beth Moore's latest book, "So Long Insecurity," which I am very excited to give away!!

If you would like to enter the giveaway, please leave a comment in the comments section with name, email, and what excites you about this book. Not that I have a big following or readership, but you may receive an additional entry by posting about my giveaway on facebook or twitter, and then leaving an additional comment letting me know about your facebook and twitter posts. And if you are a blogger, you can receive yet another entry if you post about it on your blog - just leave a link in the comments section. I will announce the winner on February 23rd. I hope you are as excited about this giveaway as I am!

  2. I hate insecurities. It's like I let them completely control me sometimes. I just love Beth Moore. Honestly, I'm excited because it's Beth Moore and the book is about my biggest problem, being insecure. Love reading your blog. It's so funny that you are giving something away, I have been thinking for about a week now that I would love to do a giveaway on my page. Tammy Wisdom tammywizdom@aol.com

  3. You are crazy, girl! I can't believe you stood in that line to give it away :) I would love to win because I am so insecure as a parent. (I have other insecurities too; fortunately, my husband's love is not one of them.)

Thanks for the giveaway! Isn't it fun?!

Jason asked me if I wanted a copy of her newest book and then said, but you don't seem to have any insecurities. I had to tell him that just b/c I don't "seem" to have any, I still do, all women do, it's just part of being us! I know that Beth Moore has dealt with more insecurities than I will ever, and I am very interested to see what she has to say, or rather what God has lead her to say. Thanks for giving this away and I'm very excited that you were able to meet her!

  9. From a Friend,

I love that you sacrificed your time and stood in line to give away an awesome gift that could really help free someone else.....I think that is a cool thing to do. I have a friend who is a missionary in the United States. She is AWESOME but she is often insecure about her ability to do this incredible thing that God has called her and her family to do. If I won your book, I would give it to her....I think in the spirit of giving it should trickle down to as many people as possible. Although, I confess, I might read it first;)

  10. From a Friend,

I think is awesome that you sacrificed you time to give something away that will help free a friend that you may or maynot even know. That is a very cool thing to do. If I were to win your book, I would give it away too. I have a friend who is a missionary in the USA. She often feels insecure about her ability to do this great thing that God has called her and her family to. I think in the spirit of giving that it should have a huge trickle down effect. Although, I might read it first - I would give it to my friend because I know many will be effected by it through her work for the Lord.

  11. Hi Jamie! What an awesome idea...you never cease to amaze me:) I have had many insecurities through my life. Probably the biggest comes from being a child of divorced parents. Many "issues" remained with me through Adulthood but I'm slowly getting rid of these. I know God cannot use me until I'm totally secure in myself and who he made me to be. We all go through things for a reason and I am just one of many billions of children from a split home. So long insecurities from the past....you are no good to me! Love you friend:)

  12. Jamie,
Very nice idea! I have stumbled across Beth Moore on T.V. on Wednesday's, and I am like a sponge, just trying to soak it all up. I don't own any of her material, nor I have I ever attended one of her studies {although I always have wanted to}. This book title gets my attention, like I can't even begin to explain!!!
Your blog is awesome, thank you for your transparency. May your devotion be a blessing to you and yours.
